More desecration in Belfast

St Anne's Cathedral was a beautiful building - until they stuck this stupid spike on top. Apart from destroying the character of the building I think the money could have been better spent elsewhere.
The construction work you can see here is a scheme that has just got under way to build "St Anne's Square", which will be a prestigious commerical and residential area with views towards the rear of the Cathedral also incorporating a new multi-storey car park.
