Last saturday we decided to pack our bags and head off for a couple of days. Our route started from Ballyclare and from there up through the Glens of Antrim but before we got that far we stopped at a local picnic spot because, as we drove up, we could see Slemish lit by the sun while all around was in shadow. Of course, by the time we got out of the car the scenario had reversed and Slemish was looking dark and forboding again while the surrounding fields were lit up by the brief patches of sun. We waited and waited and waited but to no avail - we had missed our kodak moment but we did get a great shot of dark Slemish and a very interesting cloud formation.

What I did during the holidays #1
