A company chief in a row with a garage owner smashed up a £65,000 Ferrari – only to discover it belonged to someone else.
David Higgins, 48, had a 'moment of madness' after a money dispute with Richard Lukins, a court heard.
Thinking the 550 Maranello belonged to his adversary, Higgins slammed his pick-up truck backwards 'at speed' three times into the 199mph supercar, leaving it a crumpled wreck.
When police arrived, he said: 'I know I have done wrong but it made me feel better.' It was only later he discovered the car belonged to surgeon Matthew Sala.
