Café Moderne

A few years ago while holidaying in Sarlat (on the Dordogne) I came across a Foire à la Brocante and decided to have a rummage.
Eventually I came across a small photograph album with photos dating back pre World War II and, much to my wife's displeasure, bought it. None of the photos have descriptions, except for one of four soldiers on manoeuvres at Camp des Garrigues (?), so I have no way of knowing who these people are or where they lived (I assume it was in the Dordogne area). The photos are small and not of high definition and the last (judging by the clothes) appears to have been taken in the 1950's. I think they are of the same family but it is difficult to tell. This is my favourite of a family group relaxing outside Cafe Moderne on a summer's day and who appear to be studying a book or photograph album, perhaps. Again, judging by the clothes, I think it was taken in the 1940's. It would be interesting to know who they are and where they are but I don't expect ever to find out. I think the mystery adds to the photo's appeal.
