A maths challenge from China - used to show how far the UK is slipping behind in maths standards - appeared on the BBC news website last week and today they have published the answers.
Apparently the winner was 34-year-old David Brockley from Shoreham-by-Sea, West Sussex who answered the maths problem during his lunch break on Friday. Even more impressively, he managed this mental battle despite being the father of a four-month old baby.
Actually I don't see how being the father of a four-month old baby affects your mental abilities.
