Does anybody remember Wandering Scribe ?
An old review here at The Friday Thing
... and if anybody can be bothered reading it Wandering Ego is still doing his best to discredit her.

• There has already been massive media interest in Anya's story and her homelessness blog www.wanderingscribe.blogspot.com. Her blog has been nominated for a media award run by the New Statesman magazine and averages 11,000 readers per week. (Not any longer it doesn't) Anya has been interviewed by BBC News and the New York Times amongst others.
• Major publicity campaign will target ‘Abandoned’ at the extensive inspirational memoir market. Coverage will include interviews, features, reviews in key woman’s and lifestyle media. Strong serial sale expected.
• To be supported with an extensive marketing campaign including key title in Closer magazine book club advertorial, online awareness driving initiatives (eg: using Anya’s blog) (they're going to need a few more up to date entries there) to generate strong word of mouth hype and targeting the numerous homeless charities and the Big Issue magazine to promote, market and distribute the book.
The bit I find interesting is targeting the numerous homeless charities and the Big Issue magazine to promote, market and distribute the book. Do they think homeless charities and the Big Issue have nothing better to do than promote, market and distribute the book?
